We recommend to use WordPress Customizer (WP Admin – Appearance – Customize) to build a web site. The customizer contains some set of the default/standard WordPress settings, below we describe only theme-specific customizer settings.

Theme Colors

Contains a set of options to change the font of site elements. For the better understanding of purposes of different fonts, we recommend to play around these fonts in customizer:

  • Page Background Color – the background color of the page
  • Background Color – the color of background area that appears behind the page background
  • Link Color – color for all links on the web site
  • Main Text Color – color for the text of the web site
  • Secondary Text Color – color for additional text elements of the web site
  • Menu Color – set the color of the primary (main) menu of the web site
  • Heading Text Color – specifies the color of the text inside heading elements

Theme Fonts

Contains a set of options to change the color of site elements. For the better understanding of purposes of different colors, we recommend to play around these colors in customizer:

  • Title Font – allows to select a special font for all titles on the site
  • Text Font – specify the font of texts on the site
  • Primary Menu Font and Size – select font and font size for main menu of the web site
    • Bold Font for Primary Menu – if checked, the font becomes bold decorated for root items of primary menu
    • Uppercase Primary Menu – the text of all root items of site primary menu are uppercase or no
  • Primary Submenu Font Size – select font size for subitems of main menu of the web site
    • Bold Font for Primary Submenu – if checked, the font becomes bold decorated for subitems of primary menu
    • Uppercase Primary Sub Menu – the text of sub level menu items (all items except root) of site primary menu are uppercase or no

    1. Anthropology, the study of culture and human societies, studies fashion by asking why certain styles are deemed socially appropriate and others are not. A certain way is chosen and that becomes the fashion as defined by a certain people as a whole, so if a particular style has a meaning in an already occurring set of beliefs that style will become fashion.

        1. The definition of fashion and anti-fashion is as follows: Anti-fashion is fixed and changes little over time. Anti-fashion is different depending on the cultural or social group one is associated with or where one lives, but within that group or locality the style changes little.

  2. Today, people in rich countries are linked to people in poor countries through the commoditization and consumption of what is called fashion. People work long hours in one area of the globe to produce things that people in another part of the globe are anxious to consume.
